Swimming pool design and projection services – Artemis Pool

Design and Projection

For many years, we have designed and engineered a wide variety of pool projects both in Turkey and abroad. We have addressed different purposes of use and managed the application process in line with those requirements. With the experience we have gained in the sector over the years, we provide optimal solutions. We design according to the needs, without compromising standards, and continue our work with the highest-quality equipment within ethical principles.

The project you are planning to build is first created as a preliminary concept. When it reaches a form close to the final version, it is modelled and detailed with computer-aided design and then submitted for final evaluation. Once approved, architectural, structural, reinforced concrete, mechanical and electrical drawings are presented to you from the very beginning, allowing the most accurate decisions to be made before construction starts. Without limitation, the most optimal solutions are proposed at the sketch and project stages to achieve a high-quality result. In the design of the work to be carried out, factors such as purpose of use, number of users, dimensions and location of the area, site conditions, optimum sun exposure, geological structure of the soil and budget are all taken into account. During your cooperation with our company, we offer the following services:

  • Concept stage
  • Preliminary design
  • Budget cost estimation
  • Detailed design and projection
  • Final commercial offer
  • Project documentation
  • Application and installation

In the preparation of technical specifications and pricing studies, the selection of materials and equipment is made in accordance with TSE 13661. We give priority to materials and equipment that are certified according to TSE or equivalent international quality standards.

Pool Design, Projection and Technical Consultancy Services

In modern pool projects, success does not only come from creating an attractive design; it also depends on correctly planned engineering calculations, material selection and application methods. Professional design and consultancy ensure that architectural and technical processes progress in harmony.

As Artemis Pool, for swimming pools, decorative pools, fountain systems and aquapark projects, we provide expert engineering support at every stage from initial idea to detailed application. After assessing the intended use of the pool, site conditions, architectural layout, mechanical needs and safety standards, we develop project-specific technical solutions.

Throughout the consultancy process, we support investors, architects and contractors with guidance on material selection, cost optimisation, technical application methods and possible on-site issues. In this way, we create systems that are long-lasting, energy-efficient, safe and fully compliant with standards.

The expertise of Artemis Pool is not just about designing a pool, but about delivering systems that work correctly, are sustainable, safe and provide trouble-free service for many years.

Swimming Pool Design, Projection and Application Stages

As Artemis Pool & Fountain Systems, we professionally manage the entire process for swimming pools, decorative pools and special pool projects from the initial idea to commissioning. Below you can find the main stages of pool design and implementation together with design, cost analysis and technical application details.

Concept and idea stage

1 – Concept Stage

Most likely you are considering having a swimming pool built. You have an area suitable for a pool, and you want to turn it into a living space where you can spend pleasant time with your family or use it for professional purposes. At this point, the first step is to clarify your needs and expectations.

Basic factors such as the intended use of the pool (family, sport, children, guests, rental, etc.), its location, sun exposure, privacy expectations and budget range are evaluated. If you are at this stage, you are ready to turn your dream into something concrete and move on to the second stage: preliminary design.

Preliminary pool design

2 – Preliminary Design

The preliminary design stage is where the user requirements are collected, the form of the pool is defined in line with its intended use and the first layout decisions are made. First, the layout of the pool area – dimensions, levels and surrounding conditions – is analysed. Taking the existing architecture, landscape and technical spaces into account, an initial schematic layout is prepared.

A preliminary programme is created to meet user expectations; pool dimensions, depths, stair locations, sunbathing and seating areas are evaluated. If necessary, several alternative layouts are developed for the same area and the best solution is selected together. In this way, realistic and feasible solutions that respond to the needs are produced.

Budget and cost estimation

3 – Budget Cost Estimation

Once the preliminary design is finalised, the required equipment, materials and construction items for the pool are determined. At this stage, the client is informed in detail about pool standards, safety criteria and operating principles. Capacities and selection criteria of equipment such as filters, pumps, lighting and chemical dosing systems are explained.

With this information, the client can clearly see the technical level and quality of the proposed application. Then, an approximate budget offer is prepared to present a realistic cost range. The aim is to help the investor perform accurate budget analysis and plan the project economically.

Pool design and projection

4 – Detailed Design and Projection

After the budget is approved, the detailed design and technical projection of the pool begins. The pool is designed in the selected type and dimensions by considering the land structure, surrounding buildings, wind and sun directions, climatic characteristics and landscape decisions. At this stage, architectural and mechanical solutions are developed to support each other.

User profile and intended use determine all critical decisions such as depths, stair solutions, kids’ areas, overflow channel or skimmer system. Throughout the design process, relevant local and international standards are followed, hydraulic calculations are carried out and every detail is added to the drawings. If requested, 3D visuals can also be provided to give a near-final preview of the pool.

Final quotation for pool construction

5 – Final Commercial Offer

When the design is completed, the brand and model selections of the equipment, pipework quantities, electrical and automation materials, as well as all finishing and construction items become clear. This clarity moves the investment cost from an approximate budget level to a figure based on actual quantities.

Detailed bill of quantities is prepared according to the project drawings, and each item is priced in line with current market conditions. As a result, a comprehensive and transparent offer file is presented to the client, minimising unexpected costs during construction. Once the offer is approved, the contract stage begins.

Pool construction and application

6 – Application

After all technical and administrative processes are completed, the on-site application stage begins. A detailed work schedule is prepared first; from excavation to reinforced concrete, from waterproofing to mechanical installation, from electrical and automation works to final finishes, the start and end dates of each work item are planned.

During application, all works are checked and carried out in line with the project and relevant standards. After the installation of mechanical and electrical systems is completed, the pool is filled with water, tests are performed and the systems are commissioned. Finally, the client receives detailed information and training on operation, maintenance and chemical use, ensuring a safe, comfortable and long-lasting pool.
